This last week was spring break for Tyler. It was really a lot of fun to be able to do some fun activities with all the kids. We took a trip to the zoo with some friends--it was quite a big group and we ended up splitting into smaller groups, but it was so much fun to take the kids to see the animals.
Don't get me wrong, the animals were a big hit--but I think playing on this rock was the highlight of the trip! They talked about it the whole rest of the day...
Here are a few of the kids that went to the zoo that day...
All of the kids were sooo good. I was pleasantly surprised that they hardly complained or fought the whole day :) Except for the occasional tiff over who got to sit in the stroller next...
This ostrich kept trying to peck at everyone. We kept telling the kids to stay back from the fence so the ostrich didn't bite them. Then some man came up and was being such a good example by teasing the ostrich and putting his fingers through the fence and jerking them back when the ostrich went to peck.
End of the day and they're all still smiling.

I love spring break. I'm glad you could do something so fun. And thanks for entertaining Erick last Sunday. Miss you guys!
How fun- trips to the zoo rock! It's weird seeing you with FOUR kids! :) That baby's legs look so chunky in the last pic! So stinkin' cute- it makes me miss my big chunky babies!
Oh...I am so glad to have an update! So fun...I should go to the Denver zoo sometime. And I am with Nancy, it is weird to see you with four children. We are getting so old.
Kim,
I can't wait to see Jason, and chew on those fat legs. It makes me sad seeing him like that because I want to go back to the days when Max was one big chunk. You were right, you know how to get babies chubby! He is only 3 months old!!!!!!!! Healthy and happy. Is he sleeping well at night? I am ready to come back to Lawton and be friends again! You are awesome. I miss you like crazy.
