Trevor decided last night that we should get a Lobster and cook it. It was pretty fun and educational :) It's an old wives tale--they don't scream when you put them in boiling water. It was really good to eat, but a lot of work to take him all apart and a big MESS. His juices kept splashing everywhere. I think next time we'll stick with Red Lobster.
This last week was spring break for Tyler. It was really a lot of fun to be able to do some fun activities with all the kids. We took a trip to the zoo with some friends--it was quite a big group and we ended up splitting into smaller groups, but it was so much fun to take the kids to see the animals.
Don't get me wrong, the animals were a big hit--but I think playing on this rock was the highlight of the trip! They talked about it the whole rest of the day...

All of the kids were sooo good. I was pleasantly surprised that they hardly complained or fought the whole day :) Except for the occasional tiff over who got to sit in the stroller next...
This ostrich kept trying to peck at everyone. We kept telling the kids to stay back from the fence so the ostrich didn't bite them. Then some man came up and was being such a good example by teasing the ostrich and putting his fingers through the fence and jerking them back when the ostrich went to peck. 
End of the day and they're all still smiling.
